Catherine Rische, General Counsel, leads Quantum Health's legal team and collaborates with internal departments to drive operational compliance initiatives. She oversees vendor and client contracts, advises leadership on labor and employment matters, and manages external counsel in navigating a complex regulatory environment.
As part of her role, Catherine (“Cat”) works closely with product, sales, client experience, utilization management and member engagement teams in a consultative capacity. She serves as a subject matter expert on plan administration issues related to self-insured employer-sponsored group health plans, specializing in compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, MHPAEA, ACA, CAA-21 and relevant state laws.
Her experience advising large multi-employer benefits trusts, single-employer group health plans, third-party benefit administrators and health fin-tech startups gives her a business-focused approach to legal compliance and corporate governance issues. She excels at communicating clear and concise legal guidance to her fellow Warriors®. She leverages her experience in the industry to sustain a culture of managing risk while supporting Quantum Health’s growth strategy. Prior to being appointed General Counsel in December 2024, she had been a member of the Legal Department since August 2022.
