DUBLIN, OH (January 6, 2025) Quantum Health, the leading consumer healthcare navigation and care coordination company, today announced that Dayne Williams has been appointed as Quantum Health’s new CEO and member of its Board of Directors, effective January 13, 2025. Williams succeeds Zane Burke, who will be stepping down as CEO and Board member, due to family health matters, after three years of helping drive high growth, product innovation, and technology enhancements. Williams was most recently the founder, CEO and Executive Chairman of PlanSource, a leading technology company that automates and simplifies benefit programs for over 5 million employees and helps employers better administer their health benefits.

“We are thrilled to have Dayne join Quantum Health as the use of independent navigation continues to be a primary focus for employers looking to address rising costs including pharmacy spend and to provide a better health benefit experience for both their employees and providers,” said Kara Trott, Founder and Board Chair of Quantum Health. “Dayne is a proven scaler of transformative companies and his expertise will expand our core solutions, ongoing use of new technologies like GenAI, and continue delivering leading ROI and outcomes.”

As the CEO of PlanSource, Williams was instrumental in changing how benefits are bought, sold, and managed, drawing from his extensive leadership experience in technology, staffing, and insurance. Under his leadership, the company experienced substantial growth, reaching over 3,800 employers utilizing the platform. Prior to his role at PlanSource, Williams was the CEO of CoAdvantage, a prominent professional employer organization (PEO) specializing in payroll processing, benefits management, risk assessment, and employee development.

“Quantum Health has long been recognized as the creator of the independent healthcare navigation market and continues to lead through ongoing innovation and consistently delivering industry-leading clinical and financial results for payers, self-insured employers and members. From the Fortune 500 to local small businesses, employers across the country count on Quantum Health to help successfully deploy health benefits and support their employees on their healthcare journeys. I am excited to join an amazing culture and strong leadership team as we enter this next stage of the company’s growth and continue to execute on our mission and vision,” said Williams.

Quantum Health serves over 550 employer clients and supports over 3 million active members. In 2024, the company signed over 90 new employer clients to its healthcare navigation and care coordination platform. This is a company record, as employers are increasingly leveraging the company’s leading technologies and human-centered clinical solutions to provide a better healthcare experience and manage rising costs. Quantum Health recently launched its Pharmacy Navigation solution that leverages the expertise of its  clinical pharmacy team, who advises members on high quality care under their medical benefit to guide them to cost-effective, clinically equivalent alternatives as employers look to contain growing pharmacy costs. The company also expanded its Comprehensive Care Solution™ platform in 2024 to offer a broader focus on oncology and new provider search and advanced analytics capabilities.

"We are excited by Dayne’s vision for Quantum Health, his industry leadership experience and his proven ability to drive growth and unlock new market value,” said T.J. Carella, Managing Director, Head of Healthcare for Warburg Pincus and Quantum Health Board member. “We firmly believe Dayne is the right leader to enhance Quantum Health’s critical mission of helping customers seamlessly navigate the often complex healthcare ecosystem.”

“Dayne is a strategic leader who can scale market-leading companies while delivering an excellent service to members and clients, as evidenced when he led Great Hill’s former portfolio company PlanSource,” said Rafael Cofiño, Managing Director at Great Hill Partners and Board member at Quantum Health. "We are confident he will leverage his deep understanding of the health benefits industry to deliver even greater value to Quantum Health’s members and clients."
